PROJECT
Renewed Dignity (En Ny Værdighed)
INFO
The Exhibition Renewed Dignity was made to set focus on Danish Designer Anker Bak’s vision of how to make a positive impact on the world. Starting with his family and immediate surroundings and using his practical skillset Anker wants to improve people’s lives and give them more dignity through his assistive furniture.
For the exhibition at Officinet, the aim was to create the illusion of a home around Anker’s furniture. By working with different rooms—entrance, living room, and dining room—and incorporating distinct archetypes for each space, we introduced a unique and innovative way to display furniture.
The design was made by using af clear line integrated with a lightweight textile to create clear divisions within the exhibition.
A strong historical reference was made with the chest as a dining table. In the past, it was customary to place the deceased on a table in the dining room, allowing neighbors and family members to come and say their goodbyes.
