PROJECT
Under the ceiling of the cathedral school in Aarhus, students have a unique breakout space where they can work in groups, do homework, and relax.

The room itself is so distinctive that the interior design had to be subtle, ensuring it didn't overpower the space while still adding some energy to break up the heavy, old structure.

A simple approach, such as introducing lighter wooden tones that complement the dark structure, combined with a burnt orange accent, creates a calm and inviting atmosphere.

The space allows for peace and concentration, offering students a retreat that feels entirely their own.
